ASD ends four-day stretch with fifth-place outing in Hawkeye 100 at Maquoketa
Starting off a four-day swing with the national tour, Ethan Dotson and the ASD Motorsports team followed the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series to Highland (Ill.) Speedway and Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.).
Dotson finished 15th in the opener and faded in the feature on Thursday to finish 13th. After losing Friday's opener at Maquekota (Iowa) Speedway, Ethan recorded his best run for the $20,000 prize on Saturday. Dotson started outside pole of the 60-lap main event and led the first seven laps before settling for fifth. He trailed Bobby Pierce, Brian Shirley, Nick Hoffman, and Cody Overton.
Dotson remains 10th in the World of Outlaws point standings.
